Stars Performing Arts Academy is more than its state of the art facilities, equipment and being Griffith's only performing art centre teaching Dance, Singing, Acting & Acro.
Established in 2015, Owner and head choreographer Miss Jess wanted to open a studio where students of all ages could develop a lifelong love of dance, acting, acrobatics and singing, while also having fun, learning and growing in a safe and enjoyable environment. She wanted a place where students could learn the importance of respect, teamwork, communication, commitment and the joy of working hard and achieving their goals.
Miss Jess has been teaching and choreographing in dance, acting and singing since 2009. She gained her qualifications in Melbourne, with a Diploma of Dance Teaching & Management and Certificate IV in Training & Assessment. Miss Jess is also qualified in Acrobatic Arts, Certified Competition Adjudicator and completed many courses in drama and vocal coaching, as well as having over 25 years’ experience. Stars is an Affiliated Member of the Australian Teachers of Dance (ATOD). Both Miss Jess and her staff hold current First Aid Certificates.
